By Air: The best way to reach Kathmandu is via boarding a flight from India. Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu is located only 6 km away from the city center. There are direct flights that operate on a regular basis from Indian cities like Delhi & Kolkata and take around 1.5 hours to reach.

By Rail: There is only one direct train from India to Nepal that starts from Jainagar (Bihar) to Janakpur in Nepal and then further by road to Kathmandu. But the best way is to take a train to Gorakhpur or Raxaul which are very well connected to other major Indian cities. One can further take a cab/ bus to reach Kathmandu

By Road: With six border crossings with India, road travel is an economical and scenic way to reach Nepal. For those coming from Delhi or Varanasi, the most convenient crossing point is Sunauli, near Bhairahawa. Day 1

Day 2
DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO SUNDARIJAL THEN START WALKING

After breakfast at the hotel, we take the private car and it takes about 1hour and 45 minutes drive.

Start this trek from the northeastern of Kathmandu place called Sundari Jal which means beautiful water. The first stretch of the trek is uphill walk through the rhododendron forest of the Shivapuri National park.

After 4-5 hrs of a walk, we reach the spectacular Mountain Viewpoint of Chisapani from where we can have a close view of the Eastern Himalayas from Langtang to Gaurishankar Ranges.

Day 3
TREK FROM CHISAPANI TO NAGARKOT

On the Third day, we walk past some ethnic villages and mostly through a dense and beautiful forest, listing the birds chirping and enjoying the view of the Himalayas. In the winter months we sometimes even meet wild fowls and sometimes even deers.

After a few hours of Jungle walks, we follow the village and sweet smile of villagers. We get lots lot of opportunity to see the old typical houses from ethnic people who are living there for a long time. On the same time, we can see the farm how they cultivate their crops in their own way.

After lunch in some village, we continue to Nagarkot, which is another famous Mountain Viewpoint on Kathmandu valley.

In the evening, we walk 45 minutes to the tower to see the sunset.

Day 4
SUNRISE IN NAGARKOT & VISIT BHAKTAPUR

Wake up early in the morning to see the spectacular sunrise view from the room.

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, where on the way we see the Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is a historical place and world heritage site.
