How to Reach?

​

By Air: The best way to reach Kathmandu is via boarding a flight from India. Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu is located only 6 km away from the city center. There are direct flights that operate on a regular basis from Indian cities like Delhi & Kolkata and take around 1.5 hours to reach.

By Rail: There is only one direct train from India to Nepal that starts from Jainagar (Bihar) to Janakpur in Nepal and then further by road to Kathmandu. But the best way is to take a train to Gorakhpur or Raxaul which are very well connected to other major Indian cities. One can further take a cab/ bus to reach Kathmandu

​

By Road: With six border crossings with India, road travel is an economical and scenic way to reach Nepal. For those coming from Delhi or Varanasi, the most convenient crossing point is Sunauli, near Bhairahawa. There are daily direct air-conditioned buses from both cities available, as well as private cars for hire. The other popular crossing is the Raxaul border accessible from Patna, Panitanki accessible from West Bengal.

Kathmandu and Pokhara Tour For 5 Days Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu | Welcome to the Himalayan Gateway

  Kathmandu

  • Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be welcomed by the guide and transfer to your hotel.

  • In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner in a traditional Nepali Restaurant with authentic Nepali cuisine and cultural program.

  • Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel. Note: Visa on Arrival at the Kathmandu airport and airport pickup included in this tour.

Day 2
Kathmandu - Pokhara Drive

  • Have your breakfast at around 6:00 to 6;30 in the morning.

  • Around 8;00 am our vehicle will be at your hotel. On the way, you can see the Trishuli river, beautiful landscapes, Himalayas, waterfalls, markets, and many interesting things.

  • Before reaching Pokhara we will stop at Begnas Lakes, this is another biggest lake in Pokhara. If the day is clear then you can see beautiful Himalayan ranges on the way

  • Get transferred to the hotel and roam around the place on your own, you will get the Pokhara valley map at the hotel reception and they will give you the direction of Fewa Lakes and the places you can enjoy the evening.

Day 3
Pokhara Sunrise and Pokhara City Tour

  • Pokhara city tour

  • Your day starts with the sunrise tour from Sarangkot. Enjoy the early morning by going to Sarangkot for viewing the sunrise, and Mountain views.

  • After Sarangkot drives back to the hotel for breakfast and refreshment. Around 9.30 to 10 your sightseeing tour starts to Peace stupa, Davis fall, Gupteshwor cave, Mountain museum and boating in Fewa lake. You can enjoy the walk around the lake, and nice restaurants by the lakes for food.

  • Settle down for the last night in Pokhara.

Day 4
Pokhara Fly Kathmandu Kathmandu sightseeing- Nagarkot

  • Kathmandu sightseeing

  • Your flight time will be around 9;00 in the morning, you will be transferred to the Pokhara airport.

  • In Kathmandu, you will be received by our guide and start the Kathmandu City Tour.

  • Before heading to Nagarkot we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Our guide will suggest the lunch place either in Boudhanath or in Bhaktapur Durbar square, after Bhaktapur drive to Nagarkot.

  • Check in Hotel and enjoy the peaceful evening, sunset, and Mountains view.
